Features and Benefits
Production Scheduling & Demand Planning:
The Production Schedule component allows you to manage critical dates and capture [a[we requirements, which will then be aggregated into a Demand Planner. The Demand Planner then recommends orders based on criteria you set (supplier lead times, transportation requirements, etc.) and current target inventory levels.
Order Procurement:
Allows management of new or existing paper purchase orders (either based on your production schedule, demand planner, or spot orders)and real-time collaboration with trading partners providing visibility into such data as supplier confirmations, Last Date of Change (LDC) dates, ship dates, manifesrs, invoices, and a notes section facilitating communications with the supplier’s Customer Service Representatives (CSR’s).
Inventory Management: Presents current inventory levels for each item according to paper grade, roll size, print location, and price. Details of the order procurement activity are recorded, as well as receipt, consumption and adjustments due to damages in transit, physical inventories, or information received from trading partners.
Reporting: EZ-Control® has comprehensive reporting and analysis capabilities to support both inter- and intra- company decisions. Providing key information in a timely fashion speeds management consensus and reduces time, effort, and errors in the data gathering and analysis processes. EZ-Control® provides a wealth of reporting options, from static reports on inventory, planning (pre-production and post-production) and order activity, to flexible ad hoc reports that you can design.
